IRVINE, Calif. -- Rookie quarterback Jared Goff may finally start for the Los Angeles Rams ... in a preseason game.
The Rams play their final regular-season tune-up on Thursday, in Minnesota against the Vikings at 5 p.m. PT, and Rams coach Jeff Fisher said there's "a 50-50 chance" that Goff will start. That of course would mean Case Keenum, in line to be the starter for the Sept. 12 opener, would sit, as is the case for most first-string quarterbacks in the final preseason contest.
"If that's the case, it would be great," Goff said of starting Thursday.
