The Seattle Seahawks fired offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb on Monday and a replacement name who has long been speculated because he’s already in Seattle’s organization is Jake Peetz. The Seahawks hired Grubb last year after a successful college career at Fresno State and Washington, but no experience in the NFL, and also plucked Peetz off of the L.A. Rams staff as their pass game coordinator.
Peetz had spent just two years working for Sean McVay prior to being hired by first-year Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald in 2024 and Seattle’s passing offense was not nearly as troubled as their rushing offense.
