Andy Dickerson becomes sixth Rams assistant coach to leave for new team

The Rams have employed Andy Dickerson as an assistant offensive line coach for the last nine seasons, but on Thursday it was announced that he would be joining Shane Waldron, Sean McVay’s former passing game coordinator, as a coach on the 2021 Seahawks. Dickerson becomes the sixth assistant coach on the 2020 LA Rams to depart for a new team this month.

The others are Waldron, defensive coordinator Brandon Staley, assistant head coach/linebackers coach Joe Barry, cornerbacks coach Aubrey Pleasant, and assistant quarterbacks coach Liam Coen. Special teams coordinator John Bonamego moved to a new role on the Rams and has been replaced by Joe DeCamillis.
