BOSTON (AP) -- Aaron Hernandez has hired the lawyer who famously won an acquittal for Florida mom Casey Anthony to represent him in his upcoming double-murder trial.
ESPN and Fox Sports report that the former New England Patriots star has retained Orlando attorney Jose Baez. The legal team will also include Harvard law professor Ronald Sullivan and New York lawyer Alex Spiro, who also represents Atlanta Hawks player Thabo Sefolosha in a lawsuit against New York City police.
The attorneys haven't immediately responded to a request for comment from The Associated Press.
