After a thrilling Week 1 win over the Indianapolis Colts, there was plenty of excitement surrounding the Los Angeles Rams heading into Sunday’s matchup against the Washington Redskins, especially with Sean McVay facing his former team. Unfortunately, the Rams failed to live up to that hype after suffering a 27-20 loss to drop to 1-1 on the season.
Everybody knew this game would be the first official test for Los Angeles since Indianapolis wasn’t at full strength, but that doesn’t make the loss any easier to deal with. If anything, the Rams should be feeling plenty of frustration when considering how many times the failed to take advantage of certain things going their way against the Redskins in a game that could have easily resulted in a win instead.
