Almost three years ago, Case Keenum found himself in a tough position with the Los Angeles Rams since despite being the starting quarterback, the veteran knew it was only a matter of time before Jared Goff took over the role under center.
Back in 2016, the Rams made the decision to trade up with the Tennessee Titans in the NFL Draft in order to land the former California star with the top overall pick, although the original plan was to have Goff learn from the sidelines as a rookie while playing behind Keenum.
