As a fourth-round selection in the 2018 NFL Draft, DL John Franklin-Myers was the Los Angeles Rams’ most impactful rookie last season as the Carroll Rosenbloom Memorial Award winner which is annually given to the team’s rookie of the year.
Franklin-Myers played mostly in dime packages as well as some base defense situations. He recorded two sacks in limited playing time and had a strip sack in Super Bowl LIII. With Dominique Easley and Ethan Westbrooks having moved on and perhaps eventually finding new homes, the road seems paved for Franklin-Myers to be a major rotational contributor in 2019.
