2017 NFL Draft: Rams Get Help in Passing Game With Gerald Everett at No. 44

The Los Angeles Rams entered the 2017 NFL Draft with the intention of finding another weapon for Jared Goff to work with in the passing game after the offense finished dead last in the league by only averaging 14 points per game last season. After making the tough decision to trade down with the Buffalo Bills at No. 37, the Rams decided to use the 44th pick on South Alabama tight end Gerald Everett.

This year’s draft class has been filled with plenty of amazing pass-catching tight ends, and if his career with the Jaguars, Goff is going to be quite pleased with his new addition on offense.
