The Los Angeles Rams finally put the trust in their No. 1 overall pick this week, but it didn’t pay off as the Rams once again struggled to put points on the board in a losing effort that dropped them in the NFL Power Rankings.
Goff finished with just 134 yards through the air and failed to throw for a touchdown in his debut, although he didn’t turn the ball over. Running back Todd Gurley found the end zone to end his four-game drought, however he still found little room to run and averaged just 3.8 yards per carry.
