In Rams rumors today, the St. Lous Rams may be looking to the 2014 NFL Draft as the place to find their next starting quarterback.
Or so says Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch: "With less than three weeks remaining before the draft, the Rams are strongly considering taking a quarterback, and in doing so are casting a wide net at the position."
The St. Louis Rams have been rumored to have interest in several quarterbacks, with these quarterbacks said to be drawing varied amounts of interest from the team (thanks ProFootballRumors.com): Aaron Murray, Tajh Boyd, Connor Shaw, Garrett Gilbert ,Derek Carr, A.J. McCarron and Zach Mettenberger.
One of the dark horses not on that list is former Pittsburgh quarterback Tom Savage, a passer who Thomas describes as "unusual case" due to the startling lack of film on his game.
If the Rams decide to draft a quarterback, whomever they pick will most likely sit third on the depth chart behind starting quarterback Sam Bradford and veteran backup Shaun Hill.
