After a strong postseason run with the Miami Heat, Gabe Vincent was seen as a player who could come in and be a perfectly complementary role player for the Lakers. Unfortunately, injury has robbed the team from seeing that potential as Vincent has been sidelined due to what the team has classified as right knee effusion.
The injuries for Vincent started in the preseason and early in the regular season, though that was an unrelated back injury. In early November, Vincent was ruled out for two weeks due to right knee effusion, the first time the injury had been labeled as such.
