On the night of his 30th birthday, Michael Beasley had his best game of his young career with the Los Angeles Lakers.
In 18 minutes off of the bench against the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday, Beasley scored 19 points on an efficient 9-13 shooting from the field. His 19 points led all scorers not named Kyle Kuzma, who exploded for a career-high 41 points in three quarters.
Following the Lakers’ blowout win, JaVale McGee praised Beasley for being as productive as he’s been since rejoining the team on Friday.
