This Day In Lakers History: Kobe Bryant Scores 60 Points In Remarkable Last Game Of His Career

It is, without a doubt, the greatest sendoff game in the history of professional sports. Everyone remembers where they were at when Kobe Bryant scored 60 points in the final game of his career, leading the Los Angeles Lakers to a 101-96 victory over the Utah Jazz.

Kobe’s final season wasn’t a pretty one. The Lakers were a terrible team for the most part and because to multiple injuries over the previous couple of seasons, Bryant was a shell of his former self. But on April 13, 2016, nothing else mattered.

It was about Kobe and Kobe only, and it was absolutely unbelievable.
