The price of Kobe Bryant's retirement? Trading cards sell for $100,000 on eBay since he announced it

A pair of Kobe Bryant sports cards sold for $100,000 on Ebay five days after the Los Angeles Lakers guard announced he would retire at the end of this NBA season.

The autographed rookie cards were listed by leahi51513 in Honolulu, Hawaii on July 30. Buyers were allowed to make offers. Leahi51513 declined three bids, ranging from $0.99 to $2,500, between August and September. No one upped the ante for the next two months. On Nov. 29, Bryant announced his pending retirement. Five days later, the card sold for the full asking price.

The rookie cards feature a picture of Bryant dunking in what appears to be a No.
