Despite the Suns being last in the entire G League with only two wins, they challenged the South Bay Lakers in a close finish, 124-120. Both teams took turns going on scoring runs, only changing the lead four times.
With 14 seconds on the clock and the Lakers up by one point, the Suns fouled back to back for their downfall. Reggie Hearn and Devontae Cacok collected three of the four available points for the win.
Aside from the clutch free-throw shooting, Cacok had 22 points and 17 rebounds, his fourteenth double-double of the season.
