The South Bay Lakers put together their most dominant win of the season as they beat the Northern Arizona Suns, 133-108, on Wednesday night. Career nights from Demarcus Holland (19 points) and Travis Wear (17 rebounds) guided the Lakers (19-12) to the wire-to-wire victory that saw them lead by as many as 39 points. The Suns (13-18) were led by Josh Gray’s 25 points, but couldn’t overcome the overall play of the Lakers.
The Lakers were firing on all cylinders to open the game, breaking out to a 43-22 lead after the first quarter. South Bay was paced in the opening period by Ivica Zubac who scored 10 points in the quarter.
