LOS ANGELES >> Anytime D’Angelo Russell touched the ball, it quickly found its way to the basket.
He drained four 3-pointers within a two minute-sequence. He threw a pair of two assists in between those shots. And after the Lakers labored through sluggish starts both through victories and losses, Russell’s presence jolted the Lakers with an infusion of energy.
Once the Lakers’ 125-118 victory over the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday at Staples Center became official, Russell finished with a season-high 32 points on 11-of-20 of shooting, 7-of-13 from 3-point range, eight rebounds, four assists and three steals.
