Just 10 games into the 2018-19 NBA season, Carmelo Anthony parted ways with the Houston Rockets and was eventually traded to the Chicago Bulls.
While Anthony did not suit up for the Bulls, they did not immediately waive him to see what would transpire closer to the 2018-19 NBA trade deadline. As the Bulls traded for Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot from the Oklahoma City Thunder, they finally waived Anthony to create a roster spot.
With the 34-year-old expected to clear waivers and free to sign with any team in his 16th season, there have been conflicting reports about where he could land considering his brief stints with the Thunder and Rockets.
