This week on the pod, we welcomed Keith Parish of Fastbreak Breakfast to discuss Gasol’s relationship with David Fizdale, Fizdale’s coaching style, and whether Gasol could be pushed so far as to call it a career.
To start, I asked Keith for the history behind Gasol and Fizdale’s blood feud and it turns out, not all of it falls on either’s lap. Keith does a great job explaining that, because of the circumstances (an aging Memphis Grizzlies team that missed its window, a rookie head coach with very different experience, etc.
