Podcast: What kinds of players do the Lakers still need?

Free agency is mostly behind the Los Angeles Lakers, but with a handful of roster spots left to fill, there are still a couple types of role players that this team could use. So, this week on “The Lakers Lounge,” Harrison Faigen and I focused on those needs and whether there are still players available who can fill them.

We started with one of their most glaring needs: A facilitating point guard.

Now, obviously, the Lakers are pretty stacked with combo guards like Russell Westbrook, Talen Horton-Tucker, Kendrick Nunn and Malik Monk, but all of those guys are more attackers than they are inclined to get everyone in position to execute an offense.
