The Lakers once again convincingly beat the Trail Blazers on Saturday night to take a 2-1 series lead in the first round of the NBA playoffs, and at this point, it’s fair to say that they’ve shown enough to assume they’re going to move on, whether they win the next two games, or if Portland extends the series. Their defensive gameplan to slow Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum has been solid, and even though they still have questions to answer, it looks like they’ll at least be moving on to the second round.
