It’s almost an impossible realization, but LeBron James has sorta, kinda, flown under the radar this offseason — especially by his standards. The biggest Lakers headlines after their early exit in the playoffs have mostly revolved around the acquisition of Russell Westbrook, filling out the team with several veterans, and most recently, landing a new jersey sponsor.
Well, also Carmelo Anthony pointing out the hilariously obvious (James’ annoyance at people noting how old the team he put together is), but beyond that, there has been almost nothing particularly noteworthy regarding someone who almost literally can’t avoid headlines.
