At this point of the offseason, the general movement and news surrounding teams revolves around workout tapes on Instagram, the occasional fashion faux pas on vacation and a signing on the margins. On Tuesday, the Lakers chose the latter, as they made their reunion with Rajon Rondo official. It’s a move that for now mostly fills out the roster, but also raises a few questions.
Rondo said the right things during his media junket, primarily downplaying his need for a significant role on the team, and also acknowledging that the combination of his age and the guards already on the team could push him down the bench.
