With the 2018-19 NBA trade deadline approaching on Feb. 7, the Los Angeles Lakers are trying to trade for Anthony Davis from the New Orleans Pelicans.
Through all of the conflicting reports, president of basketball operations Magic Johnson and general manager Rob Pelinka reportedly have offered five different proposals. As one proposal reportedly includes the entire young core except for Josh Hart, the other one reportedly includes a mixture of players.
Since Davis has given the Pelicans four teams as preferred destinations, there is a sense of urgency for the Lakers to complete a trade soon.
