NBA Scheduling Changes Involving Lakers’ Postponed Spurs Game & Bucks Contest

The wildfire situation in California appears to finally be heading toward a resolution, so teams like the Los Angeles Lakers can rest a little easier knowing that there isn’t any immediate danger in their local neighborhoods.

The wildfires were incredibly destructive, particularly in the Pacific Palisades area where head coach JJ Redick and his family lost the home they had been renting since moving to Los Angeles. Fortunately, Redick and his loved ones weren’t harmed and even Austin Reaves noted his head coach was as good as could be despite losing his home.

Due to the wildfire situation, the NBA was forced to step in and postpone the Lakers’ game against the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday, Jan.
