NBA Free Agency Rumors: Troy Daniels Signs With Lakers On One-Year, $2.1 Million Deal

NBA free agency began on Sunday, and while many teams made significant moves to improve themselves for the 2019-20 season, one team who stayed quiet was the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Lakers have just over $32 million in cap space to use, but they believe they have a legitimate shot to sign Kawhi Leonard, so they cannot yet spend any of that money.

Considering the Lakers only currently have four players on their roster, even if they don’t sign Leonard, they will still need to fill out the roster with some players on minimum salaries.
