The Los Angeles Lakers were relatively active in 2016 NBA free agency, though not in the ways that many fans ultimately expected to be. Regardless of how you feel about the way things shook out, though, the remaining fact is that the Lakers now have only one roster spot remaining before reaching the maximum of 15 players.
What exactly the Lakers plan to do with that final roster spot remains a mystery though. While history would suggest that general manager Mitch Kupchak would prefer to keep the roster at 14 players, the Lakers carried 15 last year after the veteran addition of Metta World Peace.
