The Los Angeles Lakers’ rotation at center is basically predicated on the hope that LeBron James is open and willing to spend consistent time at that position. Otherwise, fans have to hope for JaVale McGee to be consistent, Ivica Zubac to show literally anything more than we saw last season or Moe Wagner — a rookie — to be ready to produce at a high level in his first season.
According to Channing Frye, though, it didn’t necessarily have to be that way. He was asked on the Road Trippin’ podcast about whether he was interested in coming back to the Lakers after his short but productive stint last season.
