As the Lakers continue to search for players to select in the 2017 NBA Draft, the team’s front office met with Josh Hart of Villanova, according to Jessica Camerato of CSN Philly (h/t Lakers Outsiders).
Hart, a 6’6 shooting guard who averaged 18.7 points and 6.4 rebounds while shooting 40.4 percent on 3-pointers during his senior season, is the 44th ranked prospect in the draft according to Draft Express.
The 22-year-old could be on Los Angeles’ radar with their second-round pick (which they would only keep if they lost their top-three protected first-round pick, otherwise it will be conveyed to the Orlando Magic), or for if they bought a pick (like they did when taking Jordan Clarkson 46th overall), or if Hart falls out of the draft entirely.
