The Los Angeles Lakers announced their first public pre-draft workout will take place Monday. The session will feature six college prospects, including V.J. Beachem of Notre Dame, Thomas Bryant of Indiana, Kyle Kuzma of Utah, Melo Trimble of Maryland, Andrew White of Syracuse and Nigel Williams-Goss of Gonzaga.
The Lakers kept their top-three protected first-round pick in the 2017 NBA Draft Lottery, jumping up to thr second overall pick despite finishing with the third-worst record in the NBA. The Lakers also have the first-round pick (28th overall selection) they received when they traded Lou Williams to the Houston Rockets.
