The Western Conference All-Stars prevailed in a high-flying 196-173 victory over the Eastern Conference, sending Kobe Bryant's All-Star days off to sea with a victory. Russell Westbrook was named the Most Valuable Player of the All-Star game, taking home the award for the second year in a row after scoring a team-high 31 points.
Paul George came up one point shy of breaking the all-time All-Star game scoring record, filling up 41 points while draining nine of his 19 three-point attempts. The West squad locked him out from scoring over the final few minutes, and for the second year in a row Wilt Chamberlain's record survived by just one made field goal.
