HOUSTON – It’s only November. November and Houston Rockets coach Mike D’Antoni talked about playoff implications on Tuesday.
“We should develop a mentality that no matter what, every game is a playoff implication game and we're going to play just like,” he said. “That it won’t always work out but we shouldn’t squander any games.”
Last season, after just 11 games, the franchise fired Kevin McHale and was in turmoil. Ten games into this season, the Rockets are talking about playoff seeding and have three games this week against opponents in the same class level of them: Middle.
