LOS ANGELES – A familiar face approached Metta World Peace in the Lakers locker room Tuesday before the Lakers lost 103-81 to the Clippers.
Keyon Dooling was drafted by the Clippers a year after World Peace, then Ron Artest, was taken by the Chicago Bulls, and had a 13 year NBA career and was last seen playing for the D-League’s Reno Bighorns in 2013.
On Tuesday, however, Dooling was there on behalf of the NBA Players’ Association. Before distributed some paperwork, Dooling had a message for the 36-year-old World Peace, who returned to the Lakers this season after being out of the NBA for a year and a half.
