Most of the focus surrounding the Los Angeles Lakers' pre-draft process has centered on whether or not the team will retain it's first round pick in the lottery. The team's 2016 first round pick is top-three protected and the Lakers have a 55.8 percent chance to keep it, but if it lands at fourth overall or lower, it will be conveyed to the Philadelphia 76ers as the last remaining piece of the ill-fated Steve Nash trade.
Regardless of the fate of their first rounder, the Lakers will also have a second round selection, the 32nd overall pick in the draft as well as the ability to sign undrafted rookie free agents.
