Magic Johnson Has Seen ‘A Lot Of Progress’ After Luke Walton Meeting

When LeBron James signed with the Los Angeles Lakers in free agency, it signaled the storied franchise was going to once again be relevant.

Despite a slow start to the 2018-2019 NBA season, the Lakers have picked up their play and own a 9-7 record now.

Los Angeles’ early struggles prompted a meeting with president of basketball operations Magic Johnson and head coach Luke Walton where the former was reportedly upset with the lack of a system on both ends of the floor. However, Walton has seemingly remedied the issue as his players are far more engaged on a nightly basis.
