While LeBron James’ first season with the Los Angeles Lakers did not go as planned, the Lakers are still in a good position moving forward. If injuries didn’t occur this season, especially to James, the Lakers likely would have made the playoffs.
Even though making the playoffs would have been very nice for the Lakers this season, they knew that they would be a bit limited without a second star next to James. During the season, the Lakers made a hard push to try and trade for Anthony Davis to save their season.
