The Los Angeles Lakers put up a good fight but lost to the Toronto Raptors on New Years Day, 123-114. Nick Young knocked down seven of his nine three-point attempts and set a franchise record for 36 made three-pointers over the last eight games.
Thomas Robinson and Tarik Black both had efficient nights, in their first instance together in the second unit. Black scored nine points and nine rebounds (his first action since December 16), while Robinson finished with 12 points and nine boards.
After the game, head coach Luke Walton discusses what went into pairing Robinson and Black together.
