The Los Angeles Lakers homestand didn’t start off well. Losses to the Philadelphia 76ers and Phoenix Suns were disappointing, to say the least. They finally picked up a victory in Game 3 of the homestand, knocking off the Denver Nuggets. Tonight the homestand ended and it was on a positive note.
The Lakers would defeat the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday night, 103-94. As you can see from the score, this was an unsightly game at times offensively. The Lakers scored only 42 points in the first half, as the Bulls led 56-42 at halftime.
The Lakers were sleepwalking through the first half but finally woke up after halftime.
