With the second overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft, the Los Angeles Lakers were able to get a unique talent in Brandon Ingram. After one season at Duke, Ingram was able to go right to the NBA.
Despite a lot of success in college, Ingram had a tough rookie season overall. Last season, Ingram averaged 28.8 minutes, 9.4 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game. One of the weaknesses in Ingram’s game was his shooting percentage. A field goal percentage of 40.2 percent is certainly something that can be improved upon.
After a slow start last season, Ingram did improve later on in the season.
