The Los Angeles Lakers sprinted into the All-Star break with the best record in the West. They started out very hot but have since played up-and-down basketball. They stuck with the same roster and chose not to make any moves at the deadline.
They have since shown interest in Dion Waiters and J. R. Smith, as they now look to improve their roster on the buyout market. The Lakers need to shore up their offensive deficiencies as they start to head into the later stages of the season.
As the playoffs start to get closer and closer, the court starts to shorten into halfcourt sets.
