Coming into the 2018-19 season, the Los Angeles Lakers had more expectations than we have seen in recent years. The addition of LeBron James in the offseason raised the level of expectations for the team, as they were getting one of the best players in the world.
However, the Lakers missed the playoffs once again this season, and it will be their sixth straight season on the outside looking in. While the Lakers didn’t make the playoffs, they certainly could have if things went right.
On Christmas Day, the Lakers were in fourth place in the Western Conference, and things were looking very promising for them.
