Tuesday night was not a good one for the Los Angeles Lakers. Not only were they embarrassed by the Denver Nuggets, but they saw their point guard, Lonzo Ball, suffer a sprained ankle.
Just before halftime, Ball fell over another player and went down in noticeable pain. After smacking the floor, Ball asked to be taken out just before the half. While Ball did leave early, he did start the second half for the Lakers.
However, Ball had a noticeable limp and didn’t last long in the second half. Possibly due to the score becoming lopsided, the Lakers pulled out Ball for the rest of the game.
