Throughout the season, the Los Angeles Lakers have not played very well on Sundays. With that being said, this game held a little more importance as the Lakers were looking to break their bad habit of playing on Sunday.
Lonzo Ball set the tone defensively early on as he was active on defense opening the game with a steal that led to a layup by Kyle Kuzma.
Lonzo had two steals in the first few minutes, as he continues to baffle all who criticized his defense coming into the league.
However, the turnover demon reared its ugly head once more, as the Lakers struggled to take care of the ball, which led to eight turnovers in the first quarter alone.
