The Los Angeles Lakers second overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft, Brandon Ingram, showed the NBA what he was capable of against the defending champions. The former Blue Devil finished with a career-high 32 points.

With Kyle Kuzma out with back spasms, Ingram needed to step up. He shot at 57.1 percent of his field goals along with two three-pointers and six free throws included in his 32 points.

In 44 minutes, Brandon Ingram had multiple opportunities to keep the circulation of the ball game intact. After a Kevin Durant three-point shot to tie the game at 109 apiece, Ingram needed to respond.
