This offseason, the Los Angeles Lakers were able to get their man in Anthony Davis.
Despite trying very hard during the season last year to acquire Davis, the Lakers were able to get the job done this summer. The addition of Davis was certainly needed for the Lakers. For the past few years, the Lakers have tried extremely hard to pair two superstars together, and now they have accomplished that.
Last summer, the Lakers were able to start that by signing LeBron James. However, they were not able to pair him with another star in free agency.
