If you’ve been living in your own private island lately, the Clippers pulled off an epic coup-d’etat when they not only signed two-time NBA champ and Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard, but also acquired All-Star Paul George for a record haul of draft picks. According to reports, Leonard was thinking Clippers during this whole free agency process, dating back to last summer, and he may have only given the appearance that he was interested in the Lakers to use them as leverage and/or hold them essentially hostage to prevent them from signing the best quality free agents possible.
