After a good start to the season, the Los Angeles Lakers will once again not be in the playoffs this season. Injuries were a real issue for Lakers this season, as losing LeBron James for an extended period of time resulted in the team falling in the Western Conference standings.
When trouble hit the Lakers, everything seemed to unravel. There were a lot of rumors surrounding the team and Anthony Davis before the trade deadline, and that seemed to be the final nail in the coffin for the team.
The Lakers are finishing out the season with Luke Walton still as the head coach, but it seems like he will not be with the team next season.
