Since LeBron James went down with a groin strain injury, the Los Angeles Lakers have slid down the Western Conference standings and currently sit in ninth place.
With more than half of the 2018-2019 NBA season nearly over with, the Lakers will need to make a run if they hope to be playing in the playoffs come April. As things currently stand, they will have a difficult time given all the injuries and lack of shooting on the current roster.
Without James in the lineup, head coach Luke Walton has been forced to find offensive sparks elsewhere.
