SAN ANTONIO -- LeBron James sat out the Los Angeles Lakers' 122-119 win against the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday because of soreness in his left calf, the team said.
L.A. was playing the second night of a back-to-back, and James had logged 40 minutes in Monday's 127-125 loss to the Dallas Mavericks.
This was the first leg of a back-to-back that James missed this season -- having completed all four of them up to this point -- and just the second missed game overall for the 21-year veteran.
