LeBron James Reaches Top 10 Assists in NBA History

One of greatest passers in the history of the game has ascended in the record books.

With his first dime against Memphis on Monday — a first-quarter bounce pass to Kyle Kuzma — LeBron James overtook Andre Miller (8,524) to enter the NBA’s all-time top 10 in assists.

A brilliant passer since his first days in the NBA, James has averaged 7.2 assists per game over his career, and 7.7 in his first season with the Lakers.

James’ accomplishment is all the more impressive considering he has spent the bulk of his career playing forward.
